During that time she told me I was eating too much (she "didn't think anyone else would tell me that"), that my problems were all because of my weight, and that the lump I felt in my throat didn't exist and was all in my head. She was never on time despite booking weeks in advance, and she took at least one other phone call while in the patient room with me nearly every time I saw her (once it was three calls). I switched doctors, and not only did the new doctor immediately send me for an ultrasound, I have since been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and I'm grateful for the early detection. Dr Bansal's staff is okay, but she is a terrible doctor for anything that isn't routine. I hope with experience she will learn to listen to her patients a little more in the future. In the meantime, she is not worth the wait to see her, find someone else .
