Read MoreIt is unfortunate that I have to post this. My experience with dr ranson was not good. I felt emotionally and physically abused by this doctor. It didnt all hit me til my follow up appointment. He installed a tube in my eye. He assumed that my tear duct was blocked. I have since then found out that wasn’t the case an am still suffering the affects of my runny eye. After the surgery I woke to profuse nostril bleeding. I mentioned this at my f/u and he said that I had difficulty because of my anatomy so extra force was used. The bleeding was unreal. When it came time to remove the tube from my eye, nothing to
Numb it was used and the pain of him pulling out the knotted end of the tube was excruciating. Before all this I had waited nearly two hours past my appointment time and had to ask what happened. He was stifling himself when he finally said, “we are understaffed “.(no problem, yet, no one ever came to let me know)
Anyway, overall, I’m sure he is a great doctor, however the planets were definitely out of line when I was under his care. A recent letter said he is now no longer affiliated with Spokane eye clinic.
