Read MoreHorrible! I went to have wax removed from my left ear. Dr. Edmondson told me that she uses a vacuum for the procedure and, although it will be loud, it shouldn't hurt. When it began to be painful, I stopped her and let her know, to which she said "well, can you handle it or not?"... I said I would try and she started again but the pain was unbearable, including feeling pain in my right ear, and I had to stop. She told me to use mineral oil in my ear every other night for 4 weeks and then return. Since that appointment (it's been 5 weeks) I have had severe pain and noise sensitivity (resulting in more pain) in my left ear (the one she was attempting to remove the wax from). I have never had an earache or any ear sensitivity in my life (I'm 55!). I will not return to Dr. Edmondson and I recommend you don't go to her either. On top of all that, when I have called the office to make an appointment, I have been on hold for more than 20 minutes each time. I wouldn't even give her one star but I had to in order to post this review.
