The receptionist tells me she’s texting the Doctor. He texts her back with an “Okay”. She then says it should be ready by the end of the day. Walgreens doesn’t call my mom for the scrip so the next day I call but no one answers. Fast-forward to this morning, I called to speak to the receptionist again, she checks and tells me the Doctor did not call the prescription in. She then proceeds to tell me, he’s on vacation and deserves personal time and may not have access to Wi-Fi. She also said she doesn’t like to call him when he’s on vacation. While that’s understandable. I was extremely upset. My issue is, the minute he agreed to send it on Tuesday, he should have. I have been to several countries all over the world. News flash, there’s Wi-Fi everywhere!! My mother is in pain and she has to suffer because he said he would do something but doesn’t do it. My daughter is studying to be a Doctor. I pray she isn’t like these senior predators that really don’t care about the patients. They just give erroneous appointments to bill their insurance.
