Broken ankle as confirmed in emergency room, two weeks run around to get an appointment, waiting an hour in the lobby, completing new patient paperwork (even though I'm an existing patient) then told they wouldn't see me. HORRIBLE customer service. The patient sitting next to me who had already waited over an hour for her appointment said she would routinely wait hours to be seen as well and was dissatisfied with the service. While I was in the lobby, another patient who just came out of his appointment was trying to get a Dr note from the visit with his impairment and restrictions stating he had to have the note to go back to work. The receptionist wouldn't get it. He finally had to leave for another appointment frustrated without the note.
Dr. Daines put a plate & screws in my ankle when I broke it 2 years ago. I recently broke the same ankle again where the screw protrudes. I tried to schedule an appointment and was told I needed to talk to Patti in workers comp. I left two messages and was never called back. Then I called in again and was told my injury should be seen right away and I should get an appointment so I was transferred back to the receptionist. She transferred me back again to Patti and I was told they would have to get more info before scheduling. I was called back a few days later and told they had the info and to schedule an appointment. I made an appointment. After taking off 4 hours from work, filling out new patient paperwork (even though I was an existing patient in their system) and waiting an hour, I was told that they would not see me afterall since the workers comp carrier was not in network.
