Been coming here for years and years, just been away for the last 4 of them to come back to Decatur only to find things have changed. So, they were going to do a bridge for me, after taking two teeth out. I went 6 times but all I ever got done was the 2 teeth removed. I go into 'get my teeth scanned" which turned out to be 'get my teeth shaved down for a bridge' which is several hours long and requires you to be put under. I didn't have a ride, and wasn't properly informed but I said the heck with it, so they gave me the laughing gas tube. Trying to breathe through my nose, I realize the gas isn't even on, so I left it gently just off my nose to wait til I hear or feel the gas. Them after a couple minutes she goes '..is that too much gas?' I say, 'no...it's not on yet...' NOW - when I first said this it didn't immediately spook me, but when I realized the lady that was supposed to give me the gas didn't even know if the bottle was turned on....I got spooked pretty good, said I needed to reschedule...and left. Now afterwards I felt bad about it right? I have PTSD from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan so I some times get a little weird in situations that maybe didn't need me getting alarmed like that. So I call them a couple hours later to reschedule....now the receptionist puts me on hold for a while and comes on and says 'we will have to call you later to decide if we are gonna reschedule or not' - lol. Yeah, 5 visits and a few hundred bucks at their office, and all they did was send me down the street once to get two teeth removed by their buddy shop down the street? I would call that a win for them for sure. I remember when this place said nix on it at one time. That was a long time ago. No soul, no honesty, nothing southern about the place really...and that'll be it's end like all the ungrateful places around here that don't see the issue with treating the only people left that are coming to y'all well. It's a common trope in Decatur area when new blood inherits old tried and true established places of hard work and personable people.
