Had a follow up appointment after I had a kidney stone removed. I had to call the office to schedule an appointment and was told they had already scheduled me an appointment without my knowledge. I go in for my follow up appointment I arrived 10 minutes early and there was only me and 2 other patients in the waiting room. I was the 2nd one called back and was put in a room. One hour and 15 minutes later I realized it's their lunch time so I walk out of the room and I walk down the hall no other patients are in there all the doors are opened. I find a nurse that looks surprised when she sees me and I said "did you all forget about me ?" She said "oh no he's running behind, he will be with you soon. " I wait 20 more minutes now I have been in that room FOR 1 HOUR AND 40 minutes. I'm leaving ! So I walk out and the only person I see is the girl behind the desk. YEAP THEY WENT TO LUNCH AND FORGOT ABOUT ME !!! I tell the girl "this is unacceptable I want my money back, " about that time here comes the doctor from the back door where the doctor and nurses park, "do you want to see me or not" he ask me. I tell him "this is unacceptable the least they could do is tell the truth that they forgot about me and not lie for #1 and this is not a way to run a business and my time is just as important to me as his time is to him" and he said" I'm doing the best i can" and i said" no you are not when I arrived there was only me and 2 other patients in that waiting room and how can it be OVER an hour and a half later when he only spends 5 minutes at the most in the ròom with me and I seen the other patients leave along time ago ." Not to mention that if your late the doctors office want to charge you more money or reschedule you ! When I leave I hear the doctor asking the lady behind the desk" what happened and how did they forget about me" and there is no one in the waiting room because they are closed from 12 till one for lunch and no cars in the parking lot, by this time it is almost 1 o'clock and my appointment was at 11am. I might also mention that every time I come in for an appointment I have an infection and he orders me more and more antibiotics every time instead of trying to find out why I'm keeping this infection. I told Dr. Shatte that taking antibiotics all the time cannot be good for me and he just keeps ordering them instead of finding the problem. I might also mention that every time I come in he tells me I have an infection and just keeps ordering me more and more antibiotics and I told him this can't be good for me to be on antibiotics all the time but he does not look for the reason why I'm keeping an infection he just keeps writing prescription for more antibiotics. I will be finding me another urologist that cares about the patients and our time as well.

Dr. Schatte does not provide adequate follow up care. A family member had a procedure in his office which resulted in complications after the visit. We could not get a call back for treatment. I would NOT recommend him under any circumstances.
