Dr. Younas, his nurse, Lori, and the entire staff were incredible. I was concerned initially because it seemed like a big company and I thought my husband would not be able to be anything but a number... I was happily mistaken. In fact, the opposite was true. They actually assured us of that without me even bringing up that concern. They made it clear every single person and case is different and that my husband would not be treated as a statistic. They were all so kind and compassionate, it was almost like talking to a doctor who also happened to be a family member. There was nothing I didn't feel comfortable asking, and they explained things it I wouldn't have known to question. The offers of prayers from the doctor and staff uplifted my faith in humanity. It's nice to know science and religion are not mutually exclusive for everyone. I can't believe how blessed we are to have been referred to Dr. Younas.
My husband has stage 4 squamous cell... it's a terrifying experience, but the doctor's compassionate nature as well as obvious knowledge and experience made a seriously awful situation into something we now know how to manage. They help with financial counseling, education on chemo (etc), so we actually felt we were making informed decisions about the next steps.
If you are not sure, I highly recommend Dr. Younas and his team. 5 stars is an understatement!!!!!
