I went to them on the 2nd of July and prescribed me high blood pressure medicine, they never sent it ... and then when I called them they said there was NO NOTES on the Dr's end that I needed high blood pressure medicine. Then I was transferred to a gentleman who also kept talking over and cutting me off when he was asking what he prescribed me. Since I was out of town I did not know the name right away ... then the gentleman proceeds to tell me that "Maybe I heard wrong?" Even though at home I have business card with the name of the medicine and the milligrams for it, I would have mentioned it to him but again he never let me speak and was talking over me... then he hungs up.
Fast forward to today ... July 22nd. I called and was transferred because they hadn't sent my blood pressure medication STILL! ... or scheduled my diabetic eye exam... which ok? Mind you I went to them on the 2nd of July and I had a new check up August 2nd ... so when I explained or tried too, this lady who also... RUDE!!! that I needed to get my blood pressure medicine since I had a bunch of medicine to pick at my pharmacy... she says thay I have to take the piece of paper and they'll give it to me there ... when I said that I can't go because I don't have a car and or anyone to take me she says there's nothing she can do ... when I asked her to call it in for me she said she can't that it didnt work out like that, DONT NURSES OR DRS DO THAT?!?! Anyways, she was very hostile the whole time and really insensitive. She asked WELL CANT YOUR MOM OR DAD TAKE YOU? In this passitve aggresive tone like if me asking for them to simply call the pharmacy for my medicine was an inconvinience to them with me, my parents are no longer here with me ... I live alone and don't have transportation... I tried to ask her to please call it and she basically kept shutting me down ... she was no help nor seemed like she wanted to help or offer any solution.
Every single time I've called this office from when I scheduled my first appointment...it has been a similar experience with really bad customer service. I don't understand how ppl thay work in this type of job can be so cruel and mean when asking for a simple thing like a call to the pharmacy to order a prescription. It sounded like she didn't want to do anything.
Anyways... if you choose to come here do it at the risk of being met with nothing but really negative ppl at the front desk. The Dr. himself was actually really nice... what a shame, I wonder if he knows the ppl that work at his practice treat ppl like this.
In summary, I am changing PCPS.
