Read MoreI came in for a cut and gloss. I’ve been here before but haven’t been in a while because it takes a lot longer than going to a salon. The cut is fine, but I left feeling like my hair had gel in it and hadn’t been washed in a week (I came in with relatively clean hair, maybe on day 3). It was so heavy and greasy looking and the blow dry did not look good either. I know they’re students and it’s not going to be perfect, but the instructor didn’t even say anything when she ran her hands through my hair. It felt pretty obvious to me that it did not look or feel good. I didn’t want to make the girl feel bad so I called when I got home and said I wasn’t happy. They told me they’d fix it and to come in at 3:30, which I did, then they sat me in the lobby for 20 minutes only for them to tell me they need to reschedule for next week. I asked for a refund because I’m leaving town for 2 weeks and I would rather just have my money back, and they said no and instead gave me a 25% off & free thermal style coupon, which is no where near what I paid. I spent $42 which I know isn’t a lot but it was also 3 hours of my day just for me to have to go home and wash and style my own hair, which also will make the gloss that I spent money on fade faster. 2 stars because I’ve had decent experiences here but this series of events was so bad I don’t plan on coming back.
