First experience, the representative act as if she had caster oil for coffee!! Her demeanor was awful!!
Not very welcoming at all & this was my first experience. So I was call back by a nurse, she was very friendly, so I figured maybe the rep just had a bad start.
This doctor walks in and introduce himself. He offered me a spiritual pamphlet & ask about my belief in Christ, so I was sold.
My complications required a Calcium score & a CT for further review.
The radiology staff were very professional.
My CT was done first and the Calcium score was done a week later.
When I arrived a week later to have the Calcium test, the tester remembered me from the CT. He ask me have I talked to my doctor about my CT results.
I said no. He left it at that.
My follow Up visit, This Doctor tells me my condition then ask me how do I feel about a certain procedure. I was in shock of the results, almost disbelief due to being a healthily individual & exercise daily!!
He tells me about two other test , I told him I would have those two test & go from there. He said he will give me some prescriptions for people who normally have high cholesterol . I didn’t think about it until I left the office. I had just done labs and my Cholesterol was not high. Then I went to pick up my meds and it was for high Cholesterol. I called back to ask why was I prescribed high cholesterol meds because I don’t have high cholesterol and they didn’t take any labs. My labs were done with my primary and my cholesterol was not high.
Then the representative became very unprofessional and stated the doctor gave you his recommendations and you refused and wanted medication instead.
This was absurd because I didn’t refuse any recommendations because he didn’t give any, he only ask me what I thought about a certain procedure. He. Informs me of two other test and I stated I would have those test and go from there.
No other recommendations or nothing was given, no further preventive suggestions or nothing.
Then the rep said, well you don’t have to take the meds , sarcastically . This was unbelievable!!
Do yourself a favor , bypass the practice & doctor!!!
