I'm a New Patient. Really like what I see so far.. The office is well kept. The staff is very professional.and friendly and kind, knowledgeable. It was very welcoming 😊.. I’m literally leaving the Winston Salem location from getting a tooth pulled and went to make my next appointments and was declined because i can’t no remove on of my piercings because it literally stuck in my face and can’t be removed. Yet Dr. STRICKLAND never took the time to explain she would no longer see me. From the beginning she had been unprofessional since i came to the Greensboro location which i not what i expected because I’ve dealt with her years ago when she worked at dr. Oliver office off 311. Dr. Strickland attitude towards her patients is horrible and when asking questions she always make you seem like you the issue. Today she made a joke about my piercings being in the way and it was on that i could actually remove the one she commented on and was told not to by Lauren at the beginning of my appointment. Lauren has been the only person I’ve come in contact with that being professional and helping. Dr. Strickland, Juan and Jennifer made my experience horrible from being to end and to be denied my next appointment because of a piercing i can’t remove is disappointing and heartbreaking because it’s already difficult to find a dentist you can trust. To Dr.Strickland i do not know what happened to you but you were a better dentist when i meet you over 10 years ago. You should go back to being kind and understanding instead of mean and unprofessional Each time my piercings were brought up i informed Juan and FONDA STRICKLAND that i could remove them and replace with plastic but one of my piercings can no be removed at all. Each appointment i made this known and constantly asked him to have this noted in my chart. And every time my piercings came up in conversation both these individuals gave me And rude facial expressions. How can you make a patient feel uncomfortable about a piercing they can’t remove. I’ve had X-rays, CAT scans and MRIs done with plastic jewelry or no jewelry , and that one piercing left in because It can’t be removed with no issues so to come to a dentist office and be treated this way is mind blowing. I’m sure this review won’t change her attitude Or how she communicates, but I just wanted to leave my thoughts towards this Office. The dental assistant that work with me today ms.Laural was the best person out of everyone that I’ve come in contact at this office. I was actually looking forward to seeing her again because before she sent me to check out she explained what my next three appointments were for. Just for me to get to the front be informed FONDA STRICKLAND is now refusing to treat me. If she had any issue she could’ve spoken to me like an adult to express her concerns instead of being sneaky and untrustworthy.

The one star this office receives is because I HAVE TO GIVE A STAR FOR THIS WEIRD FACILITY. When people establish care YOU DO NOT TREAT THEM UNFAIRLY BASED OFF INSURANCE . This facility should be HONORED anyone would schedule with these poor reviews . Medicaid should NOT I trust this facility to examine their clients. If patients could PAY OUT OF POCKET at the drop of a dime they would not need Medicaid. Treat people like HUMANS and stop seeking a CHECK. We know you have bills to pay… but you shouldn’t act like you solely do your job just to get paid. Do NOT schedule an appointment with this facility over the phone because if you communicate your needs over the phone and come with your x-rays in hand with COVERAGE and approval of service they will still hound you for money and push you away when you are blind sided by their professionalism.

I attempted to establish care at this dental clinic several years ago. I was unable to obtain an appointment when I first attempted to establish care due to an issue with insurance. I did not receive any communication from this dental office for over two years. I recently received a text message from this dental office stating that I was overdue for a dental exam. I thought it was peculiar to receive communication from this dental office as I had never had an appointment with this dental provider. The text message was sent to me on December 12th 2024. The text message stated that I was due for a routine dental visit on November 11th of 2024. On December 7th the ceo of united healthcare was murdered which spurred investigations concerning the treatment and care of medicaid recipients. I was unable to initially obtain an appointment at this dental office due to issues with medicaid. I had tricare and private insurance before I had medicaid. My experiences with medicaid have shown me that medicaid recipients are often mistreated and often do not receive quality of care. I went to my first appointment at this dental clinic this morning. The receptionist was friendly but they were unprofessional as they continued to engage with another member of staff in a personal conversation concerning christmas gifts throughout the check in process. There is a posted sign at check in stating that patients will be responsible for credit card transaction fees. This is the only medical office that I have been to that requires the patient to be responsible for the medical offices credit card transaction fees. There are signs posted that state patients should not have anyone accompany them in the waiting room as well as in the exam rooms due to limited space. The space is very confining and the privacy of your personal medical information can be an issue due to close proximity to other patients. The patient that was being seen before me was in close proximity to me. I heard the conversations that Fonda Strickland had with her other patient. The conversations were not professional. She spoke to her patient disrespectfully. She was condescending and attempted to demean her patient. When I was seen by Fonda Strickland she performed the quickest dental examination I have ever had. She then implied that my dental issues were due to the intake of sugary beverages. I informed her my dental issues were due to a medical disorder. Fonda Strickland did not ask me any questions pertaining to my medical disorder before she expressed that I would not be receiving preventive care. She did not explain why I would not be receiving preventive care. Fonda Strickland spoke to me in a condescending manner. She did not take time to ask questions pertaining to my care and did not take the time needed to properly access my medical needs. She did not include me in the construction of my care plan. I would not suggest attempting to receive dental services from this provider. Fonda Stricklands unprofessional conduct prohibits patients from receiving proper dental care. I would like to express that the photos that are displayed for this clinic are not pictures of the dental suites clinic in Winston-Salem. You can also contact the office of inspector general hotline 800-447-8477 as well as the North Carolina medical board 800-253-9653. You can also contact the North Carolina state board of dental examiners. Update: When examining my receipt from this dental clinic I noticed that the receptionist forged my signature on the credit card transaction by signing with a straight line. It is illegal to falsify someone's signature on a credit card transaction.

This place is AWFUL! wouldn’t suggest anyone coming here. Your time isn’t appreciated as they will have you waiting hours after your scheduled time. Last time I came I confirmed my appointment via text and waited over a hour and this time I called to confirm it via phone call and they told me it was cancelled because I had to confirm on text. I called prior to driving out and I wasn’t informed and told everyone is in schedule, but when I got there I was told they are backed up and they add me in but no time can be provided. They took a copay from me and still haven’t refunded it. I called and was told she would refund it rudely and hung up as I was speaking. Do not go here if you need to be out at a respected time!!

I didn't even want to give one star! I didn't check the reviews until after I made my appointment. I had an appointment at 11, arrived on time, but I was not called back until 12:20. I didn't have any issues with Dr Strickland like everyone else did, but honestly if she was rude in any type of way it was probably because she was overwhelmed with appointments. Main reason why I won't return, I needed to reschedule and when I told them I needed to reschedule they gave me another day with the same time and when I asked why wouldn't they make my appointment time available for me, I was told they had nothing else available. Think it's best I just go somewhere else but I don't recommend anyone even making an appointment here. It's a waste of time. You can also never get a hold of anyone and if anyone returns your call it's days or weeks later. Just close this office already. 🙄

This dentist is a crook. She spent less than a minute just looking in my mouth and said she was done and I could come back in a month for another exam. She called this office visit a partial exam. It was a Friday. She didn’t want to do the work on a Friday. Said I needed a crown based on 25 second look in my mouth. I’m turning her in to The North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners. You should too if you’ve had a bad experience. One star is too much for this lady. Please people do not give yourself to this kind of care. She’s a scammer.

I started going to dental suites when I was pregnant of 2022, I tried ignoring the reviews from google because I wanted to give this Dental office the benefit of the doubt . Everyone SEEMED professional at first but after my 2nd visit that’s when I started noticing unprofessionalism . The dental hygienist asked me did I have a “Baby daddy “. Very very uncomfortable when she mentioned that term & this was during a hygiene cleaning . Ever since my last appointment I have been in excruciating pain, They referred me to an Oral Surgeon that is booked all the way out in July to receive an extraction with no preventative care plan. My face started swelling and I was having ongoing pain for a week almost two with no pain medication no plan . I called up there & I was being ignored , nobody could give me any resources or advice on what I should do . I’ve been waiting for a response and nothing. The pain was overwhelming, I had a fever , and the only thing to do was to take antibiotics and aspirin & not to mention it is very hard to even get in contact with them . But truly I felt it was a shrug shoulder moment , where nobody cared . I believed at first that dental suites valued its patients and I referred so many family members and Friends to this particular dental practice . So I am just very disappointed that they don’t value patients , give resources or advice on what to do in a situation where an infection is spreading , I found out today that an infection was indeed present and very bad , the antibiotics was only doing the bare minimum and this was an emergency extraction that had to be done ! No if, and's or buts about it . Please Consider a place that actually values and care about its patients because still today I have not received a call back. I was in and out or ER , urgent care and as my dentist provider they could not do anything for me at all . I am very sad to make this review but I am simply tired of calling and being ignored , I know life can be hard and we choose the affordable routes because we are left with limited options but make the right decision, because this situation could have turned bad for me , but it didn’t just want people to be aware of what to expect and the experience I’ve had.

I didn’t want to give Dr.Strickland one star.The only reason I gave one star is because my husband said she was very gentle.My husband is on Medicare and Medicaid and they were in our Network.Dr .Strickland did the work on my husband which was a root canal and a crown.Gave my husband a temporary fill in that looks like a Cap.They kept rescheduling his appointment for so long his Cap came out.Then when we called them back about this they told my husband that they don’t take his insurance and it’s gonna cost $5000 to get the crown done.So we called the insurance people and they said they didn’t contact them.They are just so unprofessional.NOT HAPPY AT ALL

Horrible service, they told me they checked my insurance and my service was covered with a small copay, when i was on the chair in the middle of the process they came and told me I have to pay $1000 more if I want the full service. Or I can leave without the crown and on pain of course. Because the front desk didn't checked the insurance correctly. I called my insurance after I paid the $1000. endup Dental Suites NEVER called the Insurance at all.
