I could not and did not want to go anywhere because of pain so activity level was pretty non-existent. At my first appointment he introduced himself, gave me dates to choose from, told me what to expect and gave me more details about the surgery at my pre-op appointment. He was straight forward and did not sugarcoat anything which can be off-putting for some but was exactly what I needed. The day of surgery, he greeted me, asked if I had any other questions and assured a very nervous me that he was going to get me taken care of. Taken care of is an understatement. The pain from the incision after surgery was NOTHING compared to the pain before. Unfortunately, there was a complication during my surgery that no one was prepared for but with calm, ease and quick thinking, he was able to resolve this unforeseen issue. Even with that, he was able to update my family and explain to them exactly what was going on. As for me, my outlook for quality of life was next to none but after surgery, I felt renewed. I could not believe the difference and even with restrictions after surgery, I lost 8 pounds in just 2 weeks from being more active than before surgery. He works absolute wonders and I would suggest him to anyone that needed this done. I highly recommend Dr. Wells and am so amazed at how well everything is holding up as well as how amazing everything is healing.
