Read MoreToday I took my 8 year old son to be seen by Dr. Cavitt, DDS. Just after I filled out the paper work and handed in my insurance info, I noticed how unclean the office was. There were dead carcass of bugs litered all over the place - window sills, front entrance way, and office floor. There was dirt, hair and dust underneath the office chairs. When the doctor came to great me her first question was "did you pay your co-pay", I had I did not but I said I few question first. She replied "I will not answer any questions until it is paid". So, I paid. Then we went back where my son sat in a dirty dental chair wrapped in plastic (it didn't cover the whole thing). She briefly put on gloves looked at my sons mouth, took off the gloves put them in the sink. After I told her he needed 2 root canals, she put back on the same gloves to take another look...and almost put them in his mouth. I stopped her and said "don't use those". Looking around the examination room the floors had disgusing shavings of some material I can't identify. Hair and dirt were everywhere, even on counter tops. Looking at her professionally, her clothes were stained or just dirty. As a parting gift for my son, she gave him an unwrapped, unsanitized toothbrush which her fingers touched the bristles. I wanted to scream and yell and tell her that she can't treat patients like this...its not right. But I took the high road, she did not work on my sons mouth NOR WILL SHE EVER. DONT USE HERE IT's DISCUSTING IN HER OFFICE AND IT DOES SMELL. She is unkept, dirty and rude... why bother
