It’s rare to find such a gifted surgeon, and it’s even more rare to find one with an excellent bedside manner. It’s not uncommon to find a surgeon who is a bit distant and impersonal, but you figure it’s worth it if he’s good at what he does. It’s exceptional to find one who truly excels in both the operating room and at your bedside. This is what Dr. Smith brings to his patients. A true caring and empathy that is so welcome during a difficult time in your life. I traveled over 600 miles one way to get the best care with Dr. Smith, and I would gladly travel twice that much if I ever needed back surgery again.
