Came in because my wife was having an allergic reaction, and the nurse kept berating her saying it's anxiety. Sorry lady, but no, she doesn't have anxiety. Kept talking over us and not letting us answer questions and explain things. If you're talking down to someone with autism and telling them they're "just having anxiety" like every doctor has said before, and to just "relax and calm down", it's not good for their mental state and will induce anxiety even when it wasn't an issue in the beginning. ESPECIALLY if you start asking, "are you a victim?" multiple times. That infuriated me to hear asked, but at least I knew better than to speak up about it. That's 100% a trap for husbands that are just trying to get their wife taken care of, and trying to get a word in over a nurse who is completely shut off from listening and actually caring about their patients.
It's unfortunate that this is the closest emergency room to the Burleson area, and all the urgent care clinics are closed late at night, so these incompetent people have basically no competition. It's no wonder why the reviews are terrible. We're only going to come here again if it's our only option and it's a serious emergency, which I hope to God never happens.
