Read MoreI recently had orthopedic surgery at Astria Surgical Center-Yakima. The care I received was excellent from each person I met! It started with Omar and Kali at the front desk who processed the paper work and administered my COVID test. They greeted me using my name, had all the paperwork ready and explained clearly what I needed to do.
I was taken to the surgical area where I was cared for with warm blankets, professional procedures and always with smiles and reassurance. Many thanks and appreciation to Kerstin R.N., Rochelle R.N., Denise R.N. Megan O.R. tech. and several others, I apologize, whose names I don’t have.
I talked with the anesthesiologist, Spencer W Soffe, and was able to discuss a method of sedation that was safe and correct for my surgery. He was easy to talk with, knowledgeable and administered the medication that helped me experience the surgery with no pain..Thank you, Thank you, Spencer!!
Dr. DeMill talked with me just before surgery, always with patience, a smile and kindness. I appreciate he spends caring time with each patient before their surgery. My surgery was successful and I would trust Dr. De Mill with any orthopedic surgery I would need.
