Read MoreI called 2 days ago to set an appointment for today. I spoke with who I believe was the owner. I originally wanted just reflexology on the feet but after talking to the owner, decided on what he called a combo, which includes both the feet and back. I specifically told him I did not want deep tissue massage. I wanted a relaxing massage, as I'm a very petite woman. So he told me it would be $60 for 1 hour. The price on Google says $50, but he explained that it went up but Google wouldn't allow him to change the price. When I showed up to my appointment, a woman was my masseuse. She asked me if I wanted deep tissue; I said no. Well, to my surprise, she applied a lot of pressure. I wonder if she had misunderstood me when I said no deep tissue. Her English wasn't very good. The massage was painful. She kept pushing and digging into my shoulder blades for what felt like forever. I didn't have any issues in my shoulder blades before the appointment. As for the areas that needed attention, she either spent very little time on them or did not massage them at all. Half the massage was supposed to be focused on my feet but she spent maybe 5 minutes on them. The feet were the last and at the end she said they were too hard and just stopped. The worst part of the whole experience was paying, which the masseuse herself took are of. She told me that it would be $72, which I assumed included tips. To my surprise again, she asked me if I wanted to add tips. I was really taken aback because $72 was more than the original price agreed upon and now she's asking for tips? So I said $10 tip? She said too low; how about $20? I was more shocked than anything but I just wanted to get out of there and not be confrontational. In the end I paid $92 for the most painful, uncomfortable massage ever. It left a bad taste in my mouth that she was so bold to ask for more tip than what I had offered. This place may have made a few bucks too much out of me but they did not make me a repeat customer. I came home with more pain than when I left. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of it. I felt ripped off. Horrible massage. Very dishonest masseuse. Bad experience.
