From start to finish, our experience with Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph - Urgent Care was wonderful. My son spiked a pretty high fever and our doctor's office was already closed. We used Hold Your Spot through the portal (I highly recommend this feature, it was so easy to use!)
They told us our wait would be 50 minutes or less. We received the text that they were ready for us in less that 30 minutes. The employee who checked us in was helpful and kind. She greeted us with a smile and quickly checked us in. They knew my son was feeling pretty terrible and she made sure he was as comfortable as possible.
The APRN who saw my son was kind and compassionate. She was focused on finding out what was going on with him, and she also made sure he was comfortable while we were there with medications for body aches and nausea. Again, another small gesture that meant a lot to my son to help him stay comfortable.
The entire care team worked quickly and efficiently and explained all of the testing they were doing. One LPN spoke to my son like friend. He called him "buddy" and "dude" which made my son feel pretty cool :). The LPN also thanked my son for being a wonderful patient, which I could tell made my son feel pretty proud. Just one more small gesture that made us feel comforted.
I am so thankful for this resource in our community when we aren't able to see our pediatrician. No one wants to go to any urgent care facility, but when you have to, it's wonderful to know we have the most incredible caring and kind staff at Mosaic Urgent Care.
