Read MoreI highly recommend Dr. Alan Appley and Acadiana Neurosurgery. In 2010, I was devastated and in need of a neurosurgeon. My concern over finding a skilled surgeon led me to do some extensive research. As a result, I was confident in selecting Dr. Appley as my neurosurgeon. Ultimately, he exceeded all of my expectations.
Upon doing my "homework", I discovered there would be no need to travel since this brilliant neurosurgeon, who performed over 100 brain surgeries, was the Medical Director and founder of the CyberKnife Center located at Lafayette General Medical Center (LGMC). Previously, he introduced the Gamma Knife to Orlando, Florida where he served as the founding Medical Director of the Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute and Gamma Knife Center. He was named one of "The Best Doctors in Orlando". He was also named one of "The Best Doctors in Louisiana" just to mention a very small portion of his astonishing list of accomplishments.
