I texted her my hair history, pictures of the pre-lightened parts and a picture of what i wanted. She scheduled the appointment for lightening and toning. I was 10 minutes late, she told me that she couldnt do it, that she didnt have enough time.. I drove 90 minutes to get there so I asked if she could at least do the lightening. We agreed that she could do that and I would potentially have to wash out the toner myself at home.. she was very hesitant to let me use her sink for some reason. She put lightener on all of it, including the pre-lightened portion of my hair. I asked her while the lightener was on if she put it on my plantinum streak. She said she couldn't see the difference in shade.. To her credit she was able to get all of the hair light enough, but when I got home, the pre-lightened section of hair that she put bleach on broke off. She put the grey toner on, and said "Sorry if you were here sooner I would've had more time to play with your hair." What? 10 minutes more? She had the time to wash out the toner, I blow dried my own hair. The end result looks really messy. It's yellow and gray and there are green bits on some end pieces. If she didn't want to do the work, she should've been honest.
I went to Mimi 6 years ago (2018) and she did a great job coloring my hair, so its a shame she did so poorly this time around.
