My parents 24th wedding anniversary was yesterday and it ended up being there worst anniversary yet. My parents were not accommodated at all and due to the lack of empathy and awareness of what other people may be going through instead of trying to find forgiveness and understanding in people for their wrongs they were punished over acting out of character. Is it right to act out of character towards people and expect them to be the way that God intends us on being? of course not. But sometimes us as human beings tend do that and then we’re punished instead of being treated with the empathy and compassion we really need in that moment. My parents are the most caring & loving people that I have been blessed with to know and raise me into the person I am today. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous and disgusting that they weren’t accommodated even if one of their actions were not up to par with joy of them arriving at the wrong time and being told the one thing they had scheduled for their anniversary was cancelled. That to me is a heartbreak in itself. I don’t think that any human being would be happy with being told that after they were looking forwards to finally getting a day for them to go and relax together here and being able to relieve the stress and pressure they go through with work, taking care of others, and putting everyone else above themselves that there was nothing they could do about it and they have to pay the full $300 for nothing. If you want to get a massage here or are looking i would look somewhere else. I would take a bad massage any day than take going somewhere and going through what my parents went through who didn’t even get to get a massage. And FYI my dad had a major surgery today that has impacted his life for weeks of not being able to eat so take a step back and try to think about why is this person acting this way instead of just reacting. Maybe that’s not in yalls character because yall don’t deal with that in your every day lives, but as a student nurse who sees the unimaginable and people acting out of character places like this and instances like this are a reason that people go through some of the hardest points in their lives. So next time something like this happens… because it will think about the bigger picture and human beings and how you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes.
