I never write reviews, and I’m doing so in hopes the owners take this as productive feedback. I called in the morning to try to book a 1 hour massage at 1pm. I think there was some language barriers, and I all I understood was, “come in.” So I went at 1pm. No one was at the front of the place and there was a metal security door/screen that lead to the back. When someone finally comes, I state I’m here for a 1 hour massage. I’m then told they cannot do 1 hour, only 30 minutes, because there is only one person. I figured whatever, I wanted to try the place out. When we reach the room, there’s grocery store paper towels covering the head home. Upon entering the room, I was asked to pay right away (I understand why but typically services are payed after the fact). The “massage table” seemed like it was just a pop up table for like a picnic. It was squeaking nonstop, it was almost comical. The covering was just a bath towel (a thin sheet would have been preferable). In the corner was a computer monitor that showed the security cameras throughout the place. I’m figuring that is because they only have one person working there, but it seemed really weird in a place that is supposed to bring relaxation. The masseuse was nice, but was going through it so so quickly. She kept saying I was beautiful, which is nice but made me a bit uncomfortable. She did not do the same things on each side. In the middle of the massage, another customer came in and she had to tend to him. Then came back and rushed through mine even faster. At the end, she was for-sure waiting for a tip, but I didn’t have cash (I know rookie mistake) so I asked if they had venmo. She said card only. Then when I said I’d like to do $5, she said, “no, $10.” So I ended up paying $50 total for a maybe 20 minute massage. To me, it was not worth it. I’d loved to go back in the future (it’s so close to me) if maybe they had a front of house person and upgraded some of their equipment.
