I’ve been using CVS pharmacy on Smokey Park for 20 years. I started a new medication that is apparently hard to get at times. I have been using my CVS app trying to see when my delayed prescription would be available. After six days of waiting I decided I need to go into the pharmacy and inquire about this prescription. It showed up at the drive-through, which had been closed early due to staffing issues. I had to run another errand so I left and called the pharmacy in hopes of being able to ask a quick question of the phone. I was on hold for 30 minutes and finally just hung up. I drove back to the store and went inside to the pharmacy counter. The cashier was obviously irritated with me questioning When the prescription would be available and what I should do in the meantime. He literally shrugged his shoulders at me and said he had no idea what I can do that they didn’t have it and that was that. When I left CVS, I called three other pharmacies and all three pharmacist answered within five minutes and we’re super helpful and friendly. I wasn’t even a patient of theirs and they treated me with more dignity and respect than Cvs, which I had been a customer of 20 years.
