I've consistently received excellent service at this store, earning it 5 stars in my book. However, my experience with Christian at the self-checkout last night was a notable exception. Despite being busy, Christian's attitude and behavior were unhelpful and rude. When I asked for assistance scanning items, he curtly replied that he could only scan large items, contradicting my positive experience the day before. His tone and reluctance to help were striking, especially after witnessing an elderly man receive no assistance at a nearby checkout. I understand the challenges of working in customer service, but Christian's demeanor was unacceptable. Our interaction ended with me expressing frustration in a way I'm not proud of, and Christian responding unprofessionally. Despite this incident, I still appreciate the store's overall service, but hope for improved employee training and customer support in the future.
I wanted to express my gratitude to the two employees who assisted me last night, particularly the manager who helped me scan my items. Unfortunately, I didn't catch their names, but I hope they know how much I value their help and exceptional service. I hope they receive the recognition they deserve for their outstanding assistance.
