Quick and easy, chose frames and was able to choose custom pads and lenses with different resistance options, transition lense colors, etc. Les was super knowledgeable and helpful answering all questions. Glasses prices are reasonable but contact lens prices were very competitive. I was able to order 48 pair of lenses for $190, whereas 1-800-Contacts sells a 24-pack for $189.

Incredible optical staff! Each and every member of the department is willing to work with you to find a certain style frame, or more comfortable fitting pair of glasses for you. Very clean department, and easy going atmosphere.

Brought my 22 year old daughter there for blurry vision. They tried to sell me a $40.00 picture in lieu of dilation, but didn't even due a dilation. Gave her two prescriptions only later find out she has type 1 diabetes. Should have done a dilation which could have saved a trip to the hospital maybe. Exam was not done by Dr. Gomez so my best advice is make sure your appointment is with Dr. Gomez. And no reason not to insist on a dilation especially since it's included with the cost. The purpose of this review is not to accuse the doctor of negligence but to inform the public.

Went for an adjustment to my glasses and I couldn't see correctly. They were unwearable, and started wearing my old glasses. I returned to have a different employee do them, still a bad adjustment and Ashley told me the glasses were perfect and there was something wrong with my eyes and I should go back to my Dr. Worst attitude and treatment I have ever had there. Almost $300 for glasses I can't use.

Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. Such a waste of time. Fire
them and get better help.

Had an eye exam with Dr. Gomes at Costco. I later found out the cost of the exam included dilation. She did not dilate my eyes but still charged me for the procedure, which I find very unethical. I'm glad the dilation was not done by her, as she does not seem very competent. I have been back three times in 5 days trying out contacts. Each pair was worse than the last. PS, the eye chart was crooked, not a good sign! I will start over somewhere else.

First I was told I have astigmatism which I do not..it was to make the extra money that they charge if you have "astigmatism" second..I live part time in Florida I had a big issue with my contact that ripped I had no more lenses and called to get one replacement lenses I was told the Dr. could squeeze me in and when they finally called back they said not until April! This is very unprofessional and rude to not accommodate a past customer. The optical department at Costco is a complete joke do not waste your time and money!

Had an eye exam there and was given a prescription that I could not see . I brought the scrip to another dr and he said that it was totally the wrong one. I complained to dr Gomes and she was going to give me back half of the cost of the exam. It is now two months since I had the exam and no check has come in the mail but every time I call I am getting the runaround. It is now March 9 and I have yet
To get this check and I call mevery two days and I am getting nowhere. Worst customer service but I will report this to the BBB.

Dr. Gomes did not complete the exam but did charge me. Also, does. Not take insurance although they asked for ins info. The prescription she gave me said “Null”. I had no idea and when I went to Kennedy and Perkins they filled the prescription without any correction. I went back but Dr. Gomes doesn’t discuss she is rude and she refers to the clerk sitting at check in. CUSTOMER NO SERVICE
I expect more from COSTCO.
