Wheaton Bible Church has been my church home for 10+ years now and my husband has attended WBC for his entire life. I didn't grow up attending such a large church and still sometimes am a little overwhelmed by the size of our church, but if you make the effort to get connected you will find many smaller communities within the larger church that make getting to know others much easier! What I love and appreciate about WBC is the great, solid Biblical teaching, plus the many people who make up the church (who aren't perfect, but love Jesus and love others.) To address a few of the other comments listed in reviews, I would like to say that my children (ages 8, 6, 4, 2 and a baby) regularly attend the services and we have never been asked to leave any service. Many people don't bring babies into the service as there is a nursery, and babies are notoriously hard to keep quiet, but as long as your baby or child is reasonably quiet and not disruptive there shouldn't be any problem. There is also a small family room very close to the sanctuary that has tvs showing the service with a special spot for nursing moms to sit, complete with a changing table! My children also attend Sunday School, but it is after they have attended church with us as a family.
