After the birth of my son and the death of my mother, I was longing for a welcoming and supportive community, without judgement or conditions of worth.
My search left me feeling a bit defeated but in that moment of loss, I found The Episcopal Church of St. Benedict.
From the first moment we walked through the doors, there was nothing but love, compassion, and community. This group of humans knew nothing about us, yet they welcomed us and asked us to join them for a coffee. We do not go often, but every time we do, it is as if no time as passed, the welcoming smilies are just as bright.
We held my sons baptism with Reverend Donna on Pentecost. It was one of the most moving experiences I have ever had and I cannot thank Rev. Donna and her amazing team enough.
If you are lost and looking, all are welcome at our table.
Cheers
