Read MoreThe funeral for my 16 year old brother was yesterday 11-14-2023. Father Anthony was the one who held a prayer for him at the grave site. He was late for the service at the funeral home which was at 10 am and was rude to my mother, who was sobbing and distraught as her youngest son was being buried. He refused to bless my brothers casket and when we asked him to please sprinkle just a little holy water on it he firmly said No and walked right past us. We didnt even ask for any additional prayers or anything seeing that he was already in a mood. I have literally seen him bless and sprinkle holy water on dolls after mass. We even had our own holy water incase he had forgotten to bring some but he apparently couldn't do that for my grieving mother, a devout catholic of over 40 years. In the entire time my family has been a part of the church we have never felt so much disrespect and apathy from someone who is meant to show kindness and help those in need. I didnt want to write a bad review but I had to after experiencing such behavior by Father Anthony on one of the worst days of our lives.
