First off, I'm a devote Catholic. I attend mass regularly, but I also wanted a way to extend my faith and surround myself with other Christians. Found NB in 2015. What a great campus. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to dive into the Word differently.Pros: The atmosphere is very family centered. They strive for community. When I moved away a few years ago, I tuned into their online services a lot to stay connected, and felt like I never left when I returned. The sermons tie hard life issues to the testament and they really embody the "churches should be more like a hospital" message. Their life groups are pretty vast too.Cons: The teams definitely favor those first discovering or refinding their faith. It feels like a business model sometimes. I found it lacking for those that have practiced their entire lives. Hard to explain, but sometimes you feel disconnected because you never walked away from your faith. Being reminded that we are all struggling or failing at times is helpful in remembering to get back up, but it can get in the way of the message that we're rooted in something much deeper than that.
