New Walk Church in Zephyrhills

I had never attended church with my husband and we had been together 20+ years.After several personal invitations from our son, we attended.We instantly felt welcomed. People greeted us the moment we drove in. We received one of the best parking spots available. As we entered, the parking attendants greeted us with huge smiles and welcomes. Under the entry awning, numerous smiling members greeted us. One of which gave us a quick little tour of the building. They had free coffee and the children's ministry was amazing, so safe and secure.I've since let my grandsons enjoy the children's ministry. One is autistic and they treat him with care and compassion.Walking into the auditorium/sanctuary, I was given a pen and a message/sermon note taking card. The card was based on the message/sermon of the week and specifically designed for taking notes. Fantastic idea!!! I have never been given a tool that was designed for better Biblical retention ever before! What an amazing idea and so thoughtful.You don't have to be a member to get Baptized. They have a prayer team to pray for you or with you. You can even attend one of their small groups.You can attend any of their many Spectacular Events for children/adults; such as the Christmas Snow Event, Easter Helicopter Drop, Glow Hunt, Mom's/Dad's Day. Your kids can even join the Youth Group which has a wonderful youth Pastor, Pastor Rusty.Lead Pastor Gary and his fellow pastors share the message in clear, relatable ways. When they quote scripture, it's displayed on large screens so that you absolutely understand what verse is being quoted and what is being said with no question.I love the music. It might be louder than "some" others, but I can literally feel the spirit filling the room.It's a tad too loud for my 80 year old father, but the perfect solution is to enjoy some coffee and watch the church musicians on the TV monitors in the cafe. When the worship musicians finish, that's your cue to go into the auditorium/sanctuary.There the ushers will help you find a seat. The Pastor is usually just coming out onto the stage at that time.This is my personal opinion, but I agree with how the music is in the church. It's modern but with Christian messages. I love my fellow "older" attendees, but most of us older folk are already believers.It's wonderful to get new "older" Christians, but the older we are, the quicker we'll be gone. We need to show the younger generations, that church can be ENJOYABLE and not so ridged and stuffy. That you can learn the teachings of the Bible in relatable, modern, understandable, enjoyable ways. We need the younger generations to understand Christianity, because we need them to continue to spread God's word when we're gone. (Again, just my opinion)We attended off/on for several months. After we attended a few weeks in a row we attended one of the "Bootcamps", which to me is kinda like a get together to figure out your best fit for getting to know your fellow church attendees while also actively serving in some way to help spread Jesus' message. The church attendees truly become your "church family".At the Bootcamp we attended, Pastor Darius took the time to speak with us on a personal level.The very next week Pastor Darius inquired how we were. My husband who rarely told personal stuff to anyone, immediately felt so comfortable with PD (Pastor Darius) that he mentioned that he wasn't feeling so great and that some tests were run. PD said a prayer for us, with us, for my husband.Unfortunately we did not receive good news. My husband had pancreatic/duodenal cancer. He passed 11 months and 20 days later.In my opinion, my husband wouldn't have made it that long, nor I through his illness; without all of the love, support and care we received from all of the church staff/family, as well as, from our new church friends/family.We started going here and have never stopped. Pastor Darius honored us by serving as the minister at my husband's memorial.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

There’s no place like home. New Walk has been my church home for nearly 4 years. I’ve seen God at work in so many ways week after week, year after year. The people are genuinely friendly and welcoming – everyone is welcome at New Walk.The services each weekend are lively and engaging. Pastor Gary leads the church with a clear focus on helping others come to know and follow Jesus. His weekly messages are well presented, Biblically solid, and practical for living out what God’s Word teaches. The worship is first-class with contemporary music and lead by a diverse and skilled team.If you are looking for a place to belong, grow, and experience what it means to follow Jesus side-by-side with others, there is a wide variety of different Groups to choose from. Groups are a way to connect with others while studying God’s Word together - but not always in ways you’d expect… some Groups meet at the church, many others meet in homes, some meet in local restaurants, parks, and other places around Zephyrhills, Wesley Chapel, and Dade City. There are Groups for men, women, young adults, teens, couples, primetimers (55+), as well as Groups with a mix of all of the above.There are great things every week for the kids (on the weekends) and the teens (on Wednesdays) - and are led by an amazing team of leaders and volunteers.Ultimately, New Walk is a fun place focused on reaching the community with the Good News about Jesus, and providing a clear path to growing in what God called us to do and be.

This church has truly become a place of refuge and renewal for me. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt an overwhelming sense of welcome and warmth. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, and it instantly made me feel at home. Each service fills my soul and leaves me with a deep sense of peace and comfort. Pastor Gary is supportive and kind, making it easy to connect with others. I highly recommend this church to anyone seeking a spiritual home. It’s a place where you can feel truly comfortable and embraced.

My family and I have been attending new walk for about 2 years. Every one is so kind and welcoming. Each service brings me to tears and you can truly feel the Lords presence while there. I recently was a part of their woman’s group and the community has helped me work through a difficult time in my life. I appreciate the prayers each member has prayed over me and my family during this season. Also my son loves to attend the children’s ministry, he won’t want to leave. Lol The events for children are so fun and their cold brew coffee is the best! Thank you for all you are doing in our community through Christ.

I have been born and bred in Buffalo, NY since 1988, and I was around at infancy of the start of EPIC Church Buffalo led by Pastor Mark Rouse! I volunteered, was baptized as an adult, reconfirming my love for the Lord while pregnant with my youngest (twins) in 2015, and was sad to leave when relocating to Zephyrhills.I've lived in Florida since 09/2022, and it took exactly 2 years to find a church home. New Walk is it! It is 100% exactly like walking into EPIC back "home" in Buffalo, but as I imagine EPIC will become as they continue to grow. It was so warming the 1st week my daughters and I came. We look forward to Sunday AMs again, FINALLY, and to our future here!

Pros:1. Very diverse congregation, both in age and in race - love that. 2.Very open, modern worship - but not for everyone (it Is loud and flashy, and I like that, but too much for some - they do have earplugs, FYI).3. The teaching is practical, and very helpful beyond just the typical sermon - addresses life challenges many other churches don't ever address.4. Very good kids ministry, and youth ministry.5. Very pro men and aggressive to call them to a higher version of themselves, which is an area that is rarely approached, but very needed.6. Lots of diverse groups you can join (most based on particular type of activity or hobby)Other:1. Note: It is a 'de-centralized Baptist church' in it's origin and doctrine, just know that when going in (sinner's prayer salvation, baptism is optional but periodically encouraged as an expression of faith or further sanctification, communion is optional (though now offer it after service, thank you), run by a senior preacher and not by shepherds, etc...). TBH, I have not been able to find an independent, Christian church here like the ones that exist all over the Bible-Belt, where I lived for 35+ years.2. It is easy to get lost or just punch your ticket, as it is a huge, bustling congregation3. Besides "Divorce Care" (which was a great class), single adults is the one area that is very underserved4. 100% of hospitality (just according to my experience) is group-based only - go in lonely, leave lonely - have not ben invited to an outing, a home, a lunch, etc... in 1.5 years of going

One purpose of the church is to equip believers to act in accordance with the Scripture and spread the good news to all the nations. The Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) records Jesus calling all believers to make disciples, baptize, and teach in all nations and spread the gospel throughout the earth. The practice of each of these commands should be evident in the church.Several things stood out to me when I attended here.• I never heard a gospel driven message. About the grace of God, sanctification, how we should be at the feet of Jesus, the truth of God's word and living our lives for His glory.• The importance of persevering in prayer(Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” This scripture on perseverance reminds us that prayer is essential. We must be joyful, prayerful and faithful, even when life is difficult. Romans 12:12).• Knowing that we "serve the living and true God" (1 Thessalonians 1:9), "the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them" (Acts 14:15). I want to hear the word of God's truths and I didn't find that here.If you happen to walk away seeking more knowledge of the gospel and crave an intimate relationship with God, keep searching until you find a church that teaches God's expectations for His children: justice, mercy and humility are three of His requirements. These are not electives for the student of God's Word, but three virtuous attributes that are required of each of us. Christ offered himself as an unblemished sacrifice, freeing us from all those dead-end efforts to make ourselves respectable, so that we can live all out for God to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with Him. (Hebrews 9:15) Praise the Lord we are loved so dearly and yet, when you think about it, are so unworthy. God is working to restore the radiance of his own glory shining in and through us.Find a church home that feels the way God feels about you!

Our church is very powerful because the presence of God speaks directly to your / my situations. I really dialogue with Heavenly Father here The worship songs speaks exactly what I want to say to Heavenly Father and That fills me because I see God cares and love me so much He tailor makes the messages for Him to Speak to me. I come expecting God's Holy Spirit to speak to me and He Does. New Walk embraces all people. The worship music speaks exactly how I feel about My Heavenly Father.

My family and I attended for the first time in November. Everyone was so welcoming. They make parking a breeze, which is nice because there are a lot of cars. In fact, on your first visit, you get special parking at the front. There are lots of people at the entrance to welcome everyone. On your first visit, someone takes you on a brief tour so you know where everything is. My family loves that they have a Cafe to pick up some coffee, hot chocolate, pastries or bagels.The worship music is modern with some great talented musicians. I've thoroughly enjoyed the message every time we've attended. Pastor Gary talks about real life struggles and guides everyone with Bible based lessons. The content is amazing as well as the delivery. We all look forward to attending weekly. Please come check it out for yourself. Something amazing is happening at New Walk Church.

My family and I were moving from out of town to the region and wanted to find a church to connect at. We saw the billboards around town for New Walk and we both wanted to visit.On our first visit we were welcomed by many on our way into the building, given a tour of the church, and got to hear an incredible message. Since our first visit New Walk has been our home.We love the amazing music, intentional messages that help us grow in our faith, and the opportunity we have to help others lives be impacted by Jesus, just as ours has been.We've never had a bad experience with the staff or members of this kind and loving church.

Just moved to the area and wanted to find a church to call home and hear the word of God. Came here for Easter with my family and got turned away because we were 10 mins late to service and they said our kids had to qualify to go into the kids room by the Karen lady in the parking lot who seemed to not even want to be there. We got told me had to wait 2 hours to go in for the next service. We’ve been to Grace family in Lutz and this has never happened to us. They always welcome new members and find you a seat for the rest of the service and welcome your children to learn about our lord and savior. If your new to the area and a follower of Jesus good luck at this church but if you want advice just take the extra couple mins of drive time to grace family church or another church we’re everyone is welcomed.

My wife, kids and I love New walk Church. We have been to many church's and this is our home. The loud music is a great part of our time there. If there are people that think it's loud, they have ear plugs for anyone. The sermon always has something that is happening in the now and how God is here to help with our lives. The church has a great outreach to the community. If you get involved with the church it becomes very small. I have never been fully involved with a church until this one. The pastors that are there are awesome, all of them. They will help with anything and will give there shirts off there back if need be, not always what you want to see, lol. Liston to the message and brake it down for you yes you. Love my home.

I highly recommend New Walk to anyone that is looking for a place to call home.There are four weekend times that can fit your schedule, an amazing kids hour that your Children will beg to come to.Big events to reach the surrounding community.The Lead Pastor, Pastor Gary is a top tier communicator, and an even better follower of Jesus.He truly loves God, and people.If you have a teenager, the Wednesday night youth time is the place to be!!God is doing big things at New Walk and we would love for you to join us!

I have been to many churches in my life that were too much about the rules. New Walk is about the message in the Bible and love for everyone. My special needs daughter and her special needs friends that attend love this church. I have never seen anyone not welcomed here. If you don't feel welcomed for some reason come see me and we can talk about it. You see this church has taught me to love everyone.

My family and I look forward to attending New Walk every weekend! It’s nice seeing all the smiling faces from the parking lot crew all the way to the ushers. The worship team is amazing and hearing Pastor Gary speak the word fills my soul!I’m grateful for the friendships I’ve made since joining serve teams and small groups. New Walk has been such a blessing to my family!

I would not recommend if you are hearing impaired. No sign interpreter, no captioning of the service. No desire by the church to do either.Leave the one to get the 99 I guess.Sad, because for those of us that can hear, it was a good message.

When my wife and I started attending New Walk we were “just apart of the church”. We liked the music and message but we were just attending and not really engaging. When we met the pastors that attend there we really began to see why New Walk is a place so many people call home base. Pastor Gary challenged me some weeks with the messages and prompted conversation and Bible studies my wife and I did together. Pastor Patrick has been an awesome spiritual guide/mentor never telling me WHAT to think but to go and find my own opinion on what the Bible says. Pastor Matt Laymon has been amazing! I met up with him once for coffee and he sent me a thank you card. Dave Scarborough… can’t say enough about this man of god. Seek him out and you’ll know what I mean. My family was just drifting but New Walk helped me start leading my family and the people mentioned have all played a part. I thank all of them and encourage everyone to come to New Walk and not just attend but engage and meet some of the people there. This church will change your life.

I literally don't know where my family would be without New Walk Church. They have time and time again come to our rescue with the love of Christ in their hearts. If you are looking for a church to slide in and slide out. That's possible here. If you are looking for a church to challenge you and help you grow. This is definitely the place for you. Either way, it's up to you. They offer small/connection groups for ages teens and up. There are groups for new believers, intermediate, and the individuals who are strong in their faith. There are groups for activities and just doing life together. There are groups for men, women, couples, divorced, widowed, addicts, those who have been hurt, and just about anything else you can imagine. Weekend messages are relevant and are accessible to someone walking into a church for the first time, but they are also convicting to even the most seasoned follower of Jesus. But the place where you will gain the most at New Walk is in the act of serving. I have made some of the greatest friends I have ever known serving side by side with other Christ followers. This is where you really start to feel like part of something greater.Come on in, get the VIP treatment, and Welcome Home!

Our family loves New Walk Church, if you've never seen a true New Testament church, come to New Walk.No, it may not be your grandparents church style, but do you know of another church that is seeing people give their heart to Christ each and every weekend?The Great Commission from Jesus is to tell the world about Him, beginning at home and in your local community, New Walk does that.Pastor Gary is faithful to the Bible!In such a crazy work schedule world, this community is blessed to have a church provide two services on Saturday and two on Sunday.Thank you New Walk Church!

I have been going to the church for years. This church has helped so many people, including me and my family. It can be loud but they provide ear plugs and if you sit in the back when the music is playing it isn't that bad. If you are up front that is where the speakers are. just like when you are at a concert. They have Youth and kids that are wonderful as well. Are some of the people who are rude? Yes, where is a place where there is always nice people. You are not there to meet people and hang out . It's nice to have friends there and that will come. Just have faith as little as a mustard seed. You are there to hear the word of God. To be in God's place to worship him. There are notes that you can take and study it throughout the week. I think that is is amazing because some people don't have devotions. There are small groups that you can go to to meet people and learn more about God. The world is changing every day and we can't please everyone but when you are negative it shows your true colors and we will pray for you.

I have a special needs daughter and she has thrived in this Church. The people have embraced her,she loved the Kids ministry and moved into the youth program(Amped),and on into the young adult ministry. She has made friends and actively serves. No one has ever treated her as different.Pastor Gary's messages are always Biblical Based and relevant. I can take something from his message and apply it to my life that week. They offer many programs like Celebrate Recovery,Divorce Care,Grief Share also a 55 and older group called Prime timers. It's a great Church my family and I have grown Spiritually.

Love my church home, they do the most to ensure this community hears the word. Some might argue it’s not traditional but if it brings just ONE more believer in Christ then I’m okay with louder music (debatable) egg hunts, and trunk or treat events. They have a powerful youth program every Wednesday night to reach our kids. Come inside and listen to the beautiful singers and you will lose your doubts.

I was a Police Chaplain that moved to Wesley Chapel from Virginia on July of 2022 and New Walk Church quickly became my new home church. I initially thought I would be swallowed up by its size but was pleasantly surprised how personal this church is and the diversity of worshipers from the old to the young and from every age and ethnic group in between. From the time you enter the church until you leave you are treated as family. They have many small groups for fellowship and plenty of training and growth opportunities at every age. It is a Praying, Evangelical, and Teaching church that cares about its members (who they call owners) and its community. And, they encourage you to engage in the vision to make a difference at all levels from group leadership to serving in other capacities in the church. If you are looking for a great place to worship, grow spiritually, serve, and fellowship, this is a the place to be.

We absolutely love this church. We have been coming here about a year and a half. Wonderful praise and worship music before the service. 4 services every weekend, pick the one that fits with children's church at the same time. On Wednesday nights is the youth services for 6th through 12th grade. About 250 youth at the moment with their own praise and worship team. Small groups meeting all the time for fellowship.

When we moved to Florida 10 years ago, we came to New Walk at the invite of a family member, and my expectations were low.I had been raised in a small church, and yet had little biblical knowledge. And while we were generally good people, my families life was messy, and there were things in it that I knew the church would frown upon. I was certain New Walks “come as you are” philosophy didn't apply to me.So I didn’t expect much.And I was proved wrong. This was definitely NOT the church I had grew up in.10 years later, I can say I’ve rarely missed one of Pastor Gary’s messages. He has a way of teaching the Bible and it’s principles in a way that’s practical and understandable.I’ve come to discover that the messiness of my life and that of my family, wasn’t really a big deal. I can come in the doors with all my baggage of life, let it all out, and still be loved and accepted.To switch gears a little, New Walk prides itself on its children’s and teens programs. AND THEY SHOULD!!!!. My kids love it because it’s fun and they get to see their friends. On any given week they might get to church and find relay races, water slides, a carnival, snow cones, petting zoo, silent disco, or a multitude of other things.But behind those things, I love knowing that my kids will also learn about Jesus and The Bible’s principles on level they can understand and put into practice .Like I said, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked through the doors of New Walk 10 years ago.I didn’t expect to find a level of love and acceptance I’ve never know. I didn’t expect to find the greatest friends I will ever know. I didn’t expect to discover a deep love for serving others. I didn’t expect my family’s life to be radically changed .Like I said, I didn’t expect much when I walked through the doors of New Walk Church for the first time.But it wound up being the best decision of my life.

Living near the church is not fun. The music is way too loud. The bass rattles homes and reverberates through the body. Even with a TV on and doors and windows closed the bass can still be heard and felt. I had considered visiting the church, but would never do it now. Praise and worship is important to me, but not at the expense of my hearing. My understanding is that they give folks earplugs! That is a clear acknowledgment that they know the music is loud. My neighbors are moving because of the loud music and I don't blame them.

New Walk Church is 🔥!! The people make the church. I grew up in church, I’ve been around “church people” my whole life, but I’ve never seen so much life change than at New Walk. Their impact on the community and people’s lives is unbelievable, different than any other church in the best way possible! I look forward to serving at New Walk every week and seeing how God is going to use His church to build His Kingdom!!

New Walk Church has changed not only my life but my families life. Since joining NWC I have conquered an addiction that i was hiding from my wife and Pastor Gary has given us the tools to be the leaders our households need. Since attending NWC for the last 5 years i have grown closer to God, gotten my priorities in line, saw my wife and mother in law get baptized and will see my daughter get baptized this weekend. This church has open doors for all, despite what prior reviews say, come as you are and Welcome Home. My family is blessed to part of this amazing church family and my 6 year old and 9 year old daughters LOVE going to church to learn about Jesus.

Bring at New Walk has literally been life changing.My children beg to go back even when we aren’t there.The events that New Walk has put on for the community has revolutionized Zephyrhills, Wesley Chapel, Dade City and the surrounding community.Families are better because of New Walk, and my life is better because of New Walk as well.Jesus is in every sermon and the worship is modern and exciting.Maybe you’re unsure about New Walk, id encourage you to give it a try. Come to a service, begin serving, and join a group and watch your life change for the better.

I LOVE my Local Church- New Walk! I came as a Sinner, as an Invite with my future Husband, at their YMCA site- I kept coming Back and its been 10 years, now. This Amazing Church has equipped me to reach my God's potential through its Biblical teachings, praising in Worship, attending Groups, Retreats and Serving in many Volunteer positions. I was Married by one of its Pastors, my Daughter and I were Baptized there, I have become a Bible Study Teacher, a Discipleship Coach and a 10th Grade Girls Leader, every Wednesday, too. Pastor Gary gives Biblically based Messages, weekly plus we have Pastor Rusty preaching in our Student Ministry, every Wednesday too.I invite you to come join us, for our Easter Services, this weekend!HE IS RISEN!

This church is incredible. There is no other church in this area doing what New Walk does. They really focus on what's most important loving God and loving others. There are so many people from so many walks of life worshiping together here and it's so beautiful. It's really a family atmosphere at New Walk which Is exactly what church is supposed to feel like. Thousands of people are connecting here every weekend to do life together! They have an awesome children's ministry, that my 2 daughters love, and an incredible student ministry. I don't know why you wouldn't want New Walk to be your home church if you live in this town.

My son and I love New Walk church! We were embrace with so much love and wonderful hospitality it was hard not to feel the presence of God. My son and I felt the presence of his word when the pastor was preaching it really touched our hearts. As believers we were looking for a church and my 12-year-old son wanted to get baptized. By the following week my son was already Baptized at a beach. It’s was the greatest experience for my son. We are so Thankful to God that he answered our prayers. We now look forward to going to Church on Saturdays and on Fridays and they even have ministries for my son his age on Wednesdays. I’m thankful that my prayers were answered that God found the church for us.❤️🙏
