They attempted to tow approximately 50 vehicles during a fundraiser for rescue dogs taking place at Dry County Brewery. The vehicles were all parked in their daycare parking lot, which was not open on this day. I attempted to reach out to the church for further explanation, with no returned calls from the church.
Unfortunately their actions ruined the fundraiser and forced people to drive their cars who had been drinking. Additionally, people who’s cars had been towed were forced to pay $125 at a time when most people are still recovering from financial hardship due to COVID-19.
I would have thought that a church that likely teaches love and tolerance of others, would have approached this situation differently, however it appears that they act only in their own self interest regardless if it hurts others or not.
