Read MoreWe were invited to go to a local church for an event before back to school and we got here by mistake thinking it was the one we were looking for. The worst mistake- we got there we saw water games and kids so we didn’t know better (me my 8 y/o and mother 91y/o) we purchased like $20 in tickets and my son ran to the games. We were not welcome at all-I think it was just for members - no one spoke to us- they looked down on us from the beginning. A teenager took away some 99ct store water gun and told my son — this is not for you— no one offered my mother were to seat… I had to get small cart from the car so she could sit... about 2 hours later we decided to leave..my son asked a lady if he can take a floaty small animal and she said “yes” but on our way out to the car a guy came running after him and screamed at us — you cannot take that with you it belongs to the church !!!! Wow — they have to preach love, blessings, respect, God word for themselves only because they showed us the worst and we were there by chance.We didn’t mean to intrude and we were not there for free or looking for anything free. Anyway God has his ways…..shame on them.
