Read MoreI truly appreciate the heart and nature of this Bible teaching church, staff, and pastors. The programs offer all sorts of healing and support for both family, children and individuals with every kind of issue imaginable. I am grateful for a place I can find prayer, sound doctrine and awesome worship. I love the new Wednesday night service that kids can come and color and be with their parents at a table during the service. And all the children, teen and high school services are fun, creative and teach doctrinal basics with opportunities to dig in deeper. The number of Renewal ministries including Divorce care programs for adults, teens and children, Restoration school, counseling and so on. They make it easy to feel welcome with programs like their Life Groups and Welcome to First B ministries, and provide many ways to know the Bible better with lots of studies to choose from. They take Isaiah 61 to heart and continually seek to serve in the Eugene/Springfield with many outreach and service focuses. I started at 1st Baptist Church 25 years ago, left when I got married, and came back 5 years ago to find a church investing in it's members, and in it's community in new and incredible ways.
