First, I would like to say that although I always believed in God and Jesus as my savior, I
never felt comfortable in church atmospheres. Needless to say, I had my guard up the first
time I attended a service. I kept expecting weird church people to try and talk me into
something or sink their claws into me. When pastor Frank came up to me to welcome me, I
proceeded to put my hand up to block his rhetoric and tell him that I believe in God and Jesus
and not man-made religion. He said ok and and praise Jesus, he says that alot. Pastor Frank
is also a baseball coach and is very intune with the young teens. He has 4 beautiful
children of his own. His wife Jennifer teaches the gospel project, which is a 3 year
journey in the old and new testaments, she is just as amazing. This is just a brief background
of the family that we are so blessed to have teach and encourage us every Sunday morning.
The Brands are the most down to earth, wonderful, normal family you could ever meet.
If you are looking for an amazing uplifting church family that you would like to spend
a few hours every Sunday morning with, please come to this church and see for
yourself. This is one of the last churches around that is like going back in time.
If you give it a chance, you will feel the pure love and joy that this church has for Jesus, God
and each other. If you have children from newborn to 18, this is the place for you. There is a nursery to take care of babies and toddlers and
a children gospel project for young kids, they love it. The teenagers, which my daugher
is one of, meet on Wednesday nights in the fellowship house where pastor Weston
is doing an amazing job of teaching them not only the word of God, but also life lessons,
leadership skills and accountability just to name a few things. If you have a teenager, I highly
recommend you let them visit on Wednesday night at 5:30. The pastors are very close
to the kids and they know that they have a confidante and friend that will always
be there for them. This is something the kids themselves have said in their own words.
Please visit the website for more information on all the wonderful classes they have
all week, along with worship times, family get togethers, game nights and many more
fun things to do. Thank you for your time, if this gets one person to the place that you
have been looking for your whole life, like me, then this blog will be worth it.
