My son and I love attending Cypress Creek Church. From the moment we started coming, we’ve felt genuinely welcomed—everyone is incredibly kind and inviting. One of the highlights for us is the Kids Ministry. My son always has a great time connecting with friends and learning in a fun, safe environment.
I’ve also noticed and really appreciated a recent shift in the sermons. In the past, I felt like the messages from Pastor David were a bit on the softer side, but lately he’s been digging deeper into scripture and not shying away from tough or challenging topics. It’s been refreshing and encouraging to see that growth. There are still a few topics I hope he’ll explore more fully in the future, but overall, I’m grateful for the direction things are headed.
Another thing I love is that the church is encouraging everyone to bring their Bibles. It helps foster a deeper personal connection to the Word during service. One suggestion I have is to consider opening the altar at the beginning of service for worship and prayer. Providing that space upfront could be a powerful way for people to engage more intentionally right from the start. I’d also love to see a stronger invitation at the end of service—not just saying “church is over, feel free to stay if you want prayer,” but actually encouraging everyone to remain in worship and prayer if they feel led. That extra encouragement can make a real difference.
Cypress Creek has become a meaningful part of our lives, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and spiritually growing church home.
