I don’t think the words I will use to describe the situation, will show my exact appreciation for these youngsters. I’ve only visited countryside Christian Church in the past and just now started going (a few times). This past week I was stuck with a car that had a bad battery and not much gas. When I called AAA, they said I have used up all my chances for a roadside assistance. I had recently paid $1500 to get my belt fixed along with a compressor & axle .. so I knew I was in trouble I was out there for hours. I don’t have much family here .. and the few I have ..were not in town. . I called a few churches that were only around the corner, and when I told them my problem, they said I need to call my own church & that no one was available to help me. I immediately thought of Countryside, Christian Church, and was hoping someone could help me …remembering how friendly the Pastor, family & everyone else was.After trying to walk home ( which would take 3 hours) I got a phone call from Pastor Jose (He immediately drive down with another youngster —I believe his name is Andrew Davis, but please correct me if I’m wrong I can’t remember the helpful young guy’s name that Pastor Jose had told me ..I was in an exhaustive mode but super grateful ) They stayed with me til the end until my car was running again. Another young man walking down the street teamed up with the young guys from church. They figured out my problem. They worked just like a mechanics —-trying to open up a bad car hood ( that wouldn’t pop open)—& even going to the gas station and bringing gas in a container to see if that did the trick, .. I wanted to pay them for the gas, but they insisted not to take anything …They Gave my car a jump start … My battery was low and it appears my gas tank can’t hold little gas anymore… I am so forever grateful for these young men. I know they probably already have their kingdom being made up in heaven.. but I just want to give a super high review for these gentlemen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion, and taking out from your busy time to come drive out there ( which was NOT close) and help me !!!and thank you Countryside Christian Church as well for all you do for people in need! Your church really stands out, not only for the community, but in God’s eyes! God bless you all! 🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖
