I am a recent Believer and had been very encouraged by listening to Joel Osteen on the net and youtube, but had no desire to be part of a huge church. Joel Osteen always ends his service and sermon with the recommendation to join a good bible-based church. I looked for a specific recommendation for Albuquerque and Church Alive was the number. ! On the list so i went to a Sunday service by myself . Everyone here was extremely friendly and welcoming from the first open door. I was so impressed that I brought my wife the following Sunday and we never looked back. This is such a great church for families, couples, and individuals that are looking for a supportive, enthusiastic and loving group of all types of people. This family-run church is completely giving in Jesus yet very low key when offering a wide variety of services including nursery and daycare during services and small Men’s and Women’s support groups that are life-changing! Sunday services include a musical worship team that has singers and a small number of excellent instrumentalists that do a great job of setting a relaxed, yet intimate mood with which to communicate with our Lord. The parsons give upbeat, enthusiastic sermons that are consistently upbeat, reassuring and consistent with the highest Christian values and go out of their way to give as much individual prayer in challenging times that can be imagined. We are proud to have been committed to, and welcomed as, members of this great church family and are eagerly looking to welcome new members.
