They often use the English Standard Version (ESV) Bible, NLT as well as the NIV. At a minimum, that indicates that they lack discernment. The source manuscripts behind the modern bibles, which is what the translators translate from, are corrupted & faked at times. (Not every verse but many).
The ESV, NLT etc., like most other modern Bibles, makes Jesus sound like He lied in John 7:8-10 when Jesus spoke to His brothers. This is only one of thousands of subtle twists additions and subtractions of God's Word. We are warned in scripture not to add or take away from God's Word & I believe that if one who continues to knowingly promote & preach from a clearly doctored translation will be judged for that decision. People should at least be warned.
Someone may ask: Why is this point so important? It's important for Jesus had to remain sinless to be a perfect sacrifice for our sins. Almost all modern translations want to make Jesus out to be a sinner & liar when they translate from Vatican picked manuscripts which have been found to "NOT BE" the oldest & best but in fact were written in 1400's and 1800's. Stick with the KJV, that's the accurate translation.
Compare John chapter 7 (KJV) to modern versions in the seats at
whatever "church" you attend and you'll be shocked. Compare Rev. 1:11, Rev 5:9-10, Acts 8:37, Luke 23:42, 1 Cor. 1:18, Mark 10:24, Acts 3:26, Matthew 18:11 to KJV.
