Read MoreAnam Cara seems to be a beautiful place and space for the soul, and I’m sure it is! I just wanted to leave a thoughtful review as a heads-up. I joined a workshop last month for Spiritual Directors. When the time came for break-out rooms, we were virtual, I was in a group of 3. It was in the break-out room where I was verbally attacked and experienced aggression from another attendee. This experience was awful to say the least. So if you join a workshop or a group this is your heads-up that they do not "vet" attendees and you might not feel safe in a break-out room. As a group leader myself I do not use break-out rooms as a precaution to an incident like this.
I only write this review because as a Spiritual Care Practitioner, I understand the preciousness of our souls and how much gentleness they need. The safety of that ought to be a top priority of a group or break-out setting.
