I grew up attending church all my life, both in Korea and here in the U.S. At first, I went simply because of my parents, but as I got older, got married, and started raising kids, I realized I needed to find a church that would truly help my own faith. About four years ago, when we moved to Buford, I started attending this church, and it has been such a blessing.
One of the best things about our church is the pastor’s sermons—they are never boring, always engaging, and the message is consistently strong, just like when I first heard him preach four years ago. The congregation is also wonderful—everyone has bright faces and is so kind. I’m in my early 40s, and I love that there are many people my age as well as so many young families and youth.
What I appreciate most is that our church places a strong emphasis on raising the next generation to hold onto their faith as they grow up and face the world. That’s very important to me as a parent because I know how easy it can be for kids to lose their way. For this reason, I pray for my children and continue to be committed to serving here.
I also love our small group community, where we can share prayer requests, pray for each other, and grow together in faith. It truly feels like a family.
