Chick-fil-A in Centerville

1pm still in the lunch rush and it was busy!!! This chick filet is well managed from what I could see. I dined in and the lobby was less busy they the drive through the lobby was very clean with staff cleaning and talking to guest refilling drinks. The restrooms were extremely clean and full of supplies. I ordered and changed my mind several times. I thought the girl taking my order would have said something but she was great! Very patient with me. I finally decided to have the spicy chicken deluxe combo with Diet Coke. Ahhh my happy place order. I think the manager should run for city office. Crazy fun fast delicious are all the words that describe this restaurant. Since everyone was using the drive through it was quite nice in the dining room and parking was plentiful! They do an excellent job moving people and their cars through the parking lot. Kid-friendliness The play land at the far north end looked very clean and very kid friendly, as well as I noticed staff interacting with kids while they ate at the tables, showing genuine kindness in their interaction. Wow! This location was CRAZY busy! They did a WONDERFUL job of managing the volume because there were four people outside taking orders. We dined inside, and our food was ready just as we sat down at our table. The food was hot and delicious! We went here on a Saturday night about 6:30 pm and ended up staying for almost two hours but for good reasons! First off, our order was a little messed up. We didn’t get a one our drinks or the cookie we ordered and the salad was wrong. BUT this is Chick Fil-A after-all soooo we quickly got our order corrected with a smile! We were able to keep the wrong salad took it home for lunch the next day. We stayed for a long time because our 8 and 5 year old boys loved playing in the playroom and we continued to get free refills on the lemonade and soda while they were in there. Our daughter joined us a little later which prolonged our stay. By 7:30, the place was a lot less crowded so we didn’t feel bad staying a little extra. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chicken was nice and moist. One problem, the lettuce was dripping with water and made the sandwich very messy. I had to pull my lettuce off. We also requested light ice and ended up with three fourths of a cup full of ice. Asked for two kids meals with applesauce and a salad with a fry. They forgot my dressing and gave fries instead of apple sauce, and forgot my fry. when I was trying to check the bags to see if they missed or forgot anything they were rushing me to pull forward. I really wish they would give people a few seconds to go through their stuff and thank goodness I did. I ordered in the drive through. They must have been in a rush, because they were really quick and not friendly like usual. They also screwed up my order. I ordered a spicy chicken deluxe sandwich with a grilled fillet and they sent out a spicy sandwich and a spicy fillet. I was in the drive through and on the phone and didn’t check my bag until I was back on the freeway. It was not like my typical visit to chic-fil-a. I was disappointed. This review is specifically for Steve at Chick Fil A! He was an employee working the floor and he was FANTASTIC! He was so wonderful with not only my son, but all little ones that came and sat in at the restaurant. He regularly checked to make sure we had anything we needed: sauce, napkins, wet wipes, etc. and often had it for us right before we could even think to ask. Steve was SO friendly & gave above and beyond service. I was blown away at how amazing he made the atmosphere. This location should be proud to have an employee as great as Steve!! I really enjoy Chick-fil-A but this is the worst location I've been to. I've tried it several mornings for breakfast and each time it's gotten worst than the previous. This last visit my sandwich was cold. The chicken was room temp but the egg, cheese and muffin were cold. The muffin was cold and not toasted. The whole thing was completely not edible. Staff is very attentive and has the best customer service!! My orders are always correct. The food is fresh and hot every time! My #1 fast food spot and i will always return because of how i’m treated and because of how good the food is every single time! Today was a busy day and yet we had our food within a minute of sitting down. I love the food but man today the service out shined the food. Steve was such a delighte to watch! He was making everyone in the restaurant smile a little bigger. He was taking people's trays and picking up spilled food. Then there was Chad who was working his heart out. The was a girl working to clean tables and her joy radiated (I didn't catch her name) Truly the entire staff was wonderful. Don't just go through the drive in.
