We ordered tacos, refried beans, street corn, guacamole with chips and washed it all down with glass cokes ( Mexican coke).
What we loved:
The guac was freshly made along with the chips; both were amazing! I found the street corn to be be tasty but was too rich for me. My dining companions did not share my opinion: they loved the corn and had no trouble finishing it! ! The refried beans were among the best I’ve had and I lived in San Antonio for 6 years. The tacos were really solid.
What we didn’t like:
The menu is confusing…it really needs to be re-written. They don’t have salsa so if you order chips, you have to go with pico, queso, or guac, For the tacos they have green and red sauce. The green sauce was good and has a nice little kick. We all passed on the red sauce; just not good.
Overall, great casual Mexican food! Don’t overlook this one!
