We loved the Dam cafe !! The breakfast sandwiches and coffee were stellar AND there was someone playing acoustic guitar that made it such a lovely experience. As of Oct 2025 it was a little hard to find with construction but it's worth it !

Love the Dam Cafe's burritos! One of our favorite lunch spots in Tahoe City. Fresh, quick and the service is excellent. Plus the location is perfect - right by the Truckee River and the historical Fanny Bridge. Can't wait for them to reopen!!
