Read MoreI visited Savanna Jazz for the first time to see Indygo Rhythm Section play on a Sunday evening. What a treat! This is a great venue for Jazz aficionados. There are two spaces: you enter from the street into the bar, where you can sit at a cocktail table and enjoy sports and other events streamed on screen. A second door leads to the back room, where the bands play and there is lounge style seating. This arrangement is great for music lovers, as the bar noise is kept mostly in the front room, and you can enjoy all those great bass solos.
As others have noted, there is a distinct European Jazz club ambiance. You can almost imagine that you aren't in Silicon Valley.
