Even around 4 p.m., even on weekends, the park isn't crowded. Park staff often patrol the area, and people walk safely, so it doesn't feel unsettling. The current is calm, and even after taking a few steps into the water, it doesn’t get deep quickly. Free life jackets...Read More
The public restroom was very clean and well-maintained, with no unpleasant odors. None of the sinks or drinking fountains were broken, and the toilets flushed properly. The mirrors were made of metal, reducing the risk of accidents or breakage. The space was also wide enough to comfortably accommodate an electric wheelchair.Life jackets are provided for free, and on summer weekends, there are vendors waiting with pedal boats or kayaks available for rent. The current is gentle, and the water isn't deep, making it relatively safe to enjoy water activities.

Please be safe around the water and wear a free vest if you're going in. There are vests available on either side of the bridge that are free to use.

This is a nice place on the river. Parking is $7. Good trails and spots to walk down to the river. Grassy, shaded picnic area, too.
