Friendly staff greeted us when we walked in. The menu has plenty of options, so we ordered a few items. We ordered a calamari sandwich, jalapeno burger, fries, and fried zucchini. The outdoor seating area next to the lagoon is great, really pretty and calming to relax at after being on the road for 2 hours. Dog friendly too, so that was a big plus.
The food came out pretty quickly. Good size on all of the food, more than enough to eat for the two of us and our toddler. My calamari sandwich was delicious, perfectly fried and not greasy. The sourdough bread was a really nice choice to balance out all of calamari, tartar sauce and veggies. My wife's burger was loaded up with all of the fixing and it was a nice and juicy patty. It was quite good with the heat from the jalapenos. Crinkle cut fries were a fun surprise, cooked perfectly and not greasy. The fried zucchini were awesome, larger than anticipated and really juicy. Overall a great pitstop on a long drive, though I would certainly go out of my way a bit to eat here again!
