Trent Seafood: A Hidden Gem We Finally Discovered!
After driving past Trent Seafood for over 20 years, we finally decided to stop in, and wow, what a treat! This place is a hidden gem!
Right from the start, we were impressed. Our waiter, Michael, was fantastic - super attentive and friendly, and his hilarious "Shuck me, sauce me, eat me raw!" shirt definitely set the tone for a fun dining experience.
We started with an order of spicy snapper fingers, which were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of kick. For my main course, I had the blackened snapper, and it was absolutely delicious. The green beans, hush puppies, and fried okra were all perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband opted for the fried sampler platter, and it was a feast!
But the real star of the show was the collard greens. We'd never tried them before, but after reading rave reviews, we knew we had to give them a go. And let me tell you, they were incredible! So flavorful and sweet - we couldn't believe we'd never had them before.
The craft beer selection was excellent, and I loved the outdoor patio seating. Even the bathrooms were charming, with cute kitty cat photos adorning the walls.
We can't believe it took us so long to discover this place. We'll definitely be back soon!
