Read MoreIf you are wondering where to go for a GREAT dinner, look no further than the Islamorada Fish Company. We arrived just before sunset and had a delicious meal with a gorgeous view. But what made the food and sunset even more spectacular was our server Rafael. When he first greeted us at our table, he treated us like family he hadn’t seen in a while. He was charismatic, friendly, and just so genuinely kind. We asked him for appetizer and meal recommendations, and he gave us his honest opinion of what he enjoys eating (not the most expensive items on the menu), and everything was spot on! We enjoyed the sampler, conch chowder (which he brought us lemon/lime/green hot sauce and told us to add it in for even better flavor), Fresh Local Catch (grouper) Portofino style, and the Blackened Shrimp and Scallop Pasta. Through the course of the meal we shared laughs and memories. It felt like we spent time with a friend we hadn’t seen in a while. We will be back to see Rafael, one of the best servers of all time!
