Lovely little wine bar on a hidden alley in Hayes Valley. Friendly staff and great wines! Perfect for a first date or a quick glass of wine before heading out to one of the many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. A true local treasure!

Thrilled that my beloved local, one of the best wine bars in SF, is open for business! Same comfy environment, excellent wine list (plus beer, vermouth, and sake), and friendly, knowledgeable service. Visited last night and it was delightful.

This is my favorite wine bar in San Francisco. The eclectic and well curated wine list is best paired with their amazing cheeses (I recommend the triple cream and the hard aged Swiss). The dreamy bartender Chris makes it a moSt excellent experience.

Cozy, romantic, chic. But this place is for industry people. Only they could truly appreciate the thought and originality put into their wine list. I only wish it were a tad larger with a bit more variation. Get the Vin Jaune. Nutty, bright, fun.
